The 1940s House
The house has a history. It looked great and is built well. However, it needed attention. Please join me as we visit what was done to upgrade it and what still needs to be done to bring it to code.
Basement
It took about two years to make changes in the basement. Preventive measures needed to be taken to expand the space, prevent any dampness and to make it airy and pleasant.
Upper Level
Upstairs is still being customized. The bathroom was converted from tub to shower. And there are stories and lessons to be learned from that experience.
Yard
The yard has potential. It has had more wildlife visitors than humans. It requires regular lawn mowing, weed pulling and leaf removal. And let us not forget about the snow!
